The Fit Out
It's time to start planning the interior of the boat. A layout drawing exists and I have a few pictures of how I want it to look but it's not something that I am going to be able to do myself unless I spend years doing it, which I don't want to do. The plan for 2011 will be to get the boat in steam and to a couple of reasonably local rallies perhaps Braunston, Shakerstone or Stoke Bruern. After that I hope to find somebody who can do the interior fitting out based on the drawings and pictures I already have.
I have posted a couple of these pictures and the layout is available on the "Hull" page so if you or somebody you know is experienced and willing to quote, please let me know via the "Contact" page. I already have a couple of people who are interested but I think there is enough time to have a good look around before committing to anything.
In a nut shell, I'm hoping for a traditional style back cabin, toilet & shower, small kitchen and dinette/double bed conversion all in oak or similar light wood but not pine. The engine room will not require any fitting out apart from a couple of shelves and cupboards.
These are the basic requirements but of course the details are open to discussion and adaptation with the right trades person.

END

I found these pictures on the internet and I hope it isn't a problem to whoever owns this boat. The picture shows the sort of thing I would like to achieve in my version of Hasty so if you know who fitted this boat out or could do a similar job please get in touch.
